These Terms govern your use of tailframe.com and the Tail Frame Android app (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. See also our Privacy Policy and Account & Data Deletion.

1. Who can use Tail Frame

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you have authority to agree to these Terms.

2. What Tail Frame does

Tail Frame turns photos of your pet into AI-generated photos and videos using third-party AI models. You upload a photo, pick a style, spend Paws, and we return a generated result. Your generated outputs are visible only to you unless you choose to share them.

3. Account

You sign in with Google or email/password. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity on your account. Notify us at support@tailframe.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Tail Frame to:

Upload or generate content depicting minors. Violations will be reported to law enforcement.
Upload or generate sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, or violent content.
Upload photos of a person without that person's informed consent.
Impersonate, defraud, or mislead other people.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or bulk-download our service or its outputs.
Attempt to bypass usage limits, payment systems, or moderation systems.
Use the Service for political advertising or election influence.

We use automated screening (Cloud Vision SafeSearch) on uploads and accept user reports on outputs. If we determine you've violated this section we may suspend or terminate your account, and in serious cases report to authorities. Paws on a terminated account are forfeited.

5. Paws and payments

Paws are the in-app credit you spend to generate photos and videos.
Paws are sold in packs via Stripe (web) and Google Play Billing (Android).
Paws are non-refundable once spent. Unspent Paws on a closed account expire.
You may request a refund of an unspent pack within 14 days of purchase by contacting support@tailframe.com. Refunds for purchases made via Google Play are subject to Google Play's refund policy.
Prices include applicable taxes where required. Tail Frame is operated from Germany; EU VAT applies where applicable.

6. Generated content and ownership

You own the photos you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process them through our AI pipeline to deliver your output. We do not use your uploads to train AI models.
You own the AI outputs we generate for you and may use them for personal or commercial purposes.
You grant us a limited license to display generated outputs that you choose to make public (for example, by sharing publicly through the Service) for the purpose of promoting Tail Frame. We will not publish your private outputs without consent.

7. AI disclaimer

AI models can produce imperfect, surprising, or unintended results. Generated outputs may not always preserve your pet's exact appearance, breed, or features. Tail Frame does not guarantee a specific result and does not refund Paws for outputs you simply don't like.

8. Account termination

You may close your account at any time via the in-app Settings or by emailing support@tailframe.com. See Account & Data Deletion for what gets removed. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep Tail Frame available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We are not responsible for losses caused by downtime, third-party AI model errors, or events beyond our reasonable control.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Tail Frame's total liability arising from or related to the Service is limited to the greater of: the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, intentional or grossly negligent conduct, personal injury, or statutory consumer protections).

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. The courts of Berlin, Germany have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
